Arakawa is an independent streetwear label with an expanding creative universe. Mecha, motorsport and industrial design give the work its starting point. The garment has to carry the idea through proportion, material and graphic placement.

The Organic Oversized Hoodie shows that approach in physical terms: a 520 GSM organic cotton body, cropped length, dropped shoulders and extended rib hems. The rib uses a cotton/Lycra blend. These details describe the unit itself; they are not specifications for every Arakawa release.

Project A.R.T. takes another route. The new tees and long sleeves use DTF graphics on selected heavyweight blanks. Their identity comes through the artwork, its scale and its placement on the garment.

Arakawa Racing Team belongs to the label's original mecha-racing universe. Characters and machines inform the graphics. Clothing gives those ideas a presence beyond the story.

Arakawa Labs is where the work connects: garments, graphics and stories developed as parts of the same project. Each release creates something to build on.

Lab Designed, Street Tested.

Drop 03 brings oversized short sleeves, heavyweight long sleeves and Arakawa graphics. These motion studies feature the AK-HS.B0005 tee and AK-HL.B0001 long sleeve.

A Log gives one idea room to stand on its own: a material choice, a proportion study, or an observation from the design process.

Project A.R.T. extends the practice into characters, mecha, and a racing universe. Arakawa Labs exists within that fiction as a research and development lab, while making clothing and artwork in the real world.

This space can document the work as it develops—one drawing, object, and decision at a time.
